Our 4.1★ includes our 2.2★ Yelp rating — the lowest-rated platform where the majority of negative reviews date to our early operational years. Our 87% treats every platform equally. We calculate ours twice and include the platforms where we score lowest.

Each platform is weighted equally for transparency, not statistical representation. Review counts per platform vary significantly — Google has 822 reviews, ComplaintsBoard has 3 — but our methodology treats every platform's voice as equally valid in the cross-validation. A weighted-by-volume average would let our largest platform dominate the narrative; we deliberately do not do that. The per-platform review counts are visible above so anyone can run their own weighted calculation if they prefer.

Yelp's recommendation system prioritizes recent review patterns and heavily weights historical data. While we've dramatically improved service quality since 2019, our Yelp rating remains sensitive to older reviews. This is Yelp's algorithmic choice, not ours. What we can control is showing you all the data: our verified rating across six independent platforms, calculated two different ways.

Addressing Sentiment Polarization

Google may flag our reviews as "polarized." This is correct. It is a mathematical reflection of our 17-year journey: the vast majority of our 1-star reviews occurred during our early years (2015–2019), while our current era (2021–2026) is defined by consistent 5-star performance across platforms. The economics of household staffing are rarely discussed openly. We think they should be. We publish wage standards because opacity enables poor outcomes for the people doing the work.

Common Market Practice
The NCR kasambahay minimum wage is ₱7,800/month as of February 2026 (Wage Order NCR-DW-06). Provinces range from ₱6,000–₱6,500/month depending on region. Some agencies deduct fees from worker salaries in violation of the Batas Kasambahay — take-home pay drops well below the mandated floor.
