Regional Increases: NCR, Region X, and Caraga

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has signaled a nationwide shift. While Metro Manila sees an ₱800 increase, regions like Northern Mindanao (Region X) increased to ₱6,500 effective January 16, 2026, and Caraga (Region XIII) increased to ₱6,500 effective January 3, 2026—all part of 2026 efforts to combat rising inflation and protect domestic workers.
