MaidProvider.ph in Philippine Primer
A Japanese-language reference for families in the Philippines — 2015 and 2023
Two references, eight years apart, in a language we don't publish in.
In September 2015, Philippine Primer identified MaidProvider.ph as a website readers could use when looking for household help in the Philippines. In its living guide updated July 27, 2023, the Japanese-language publication again listed Maid Provider PH as a reference agency for readers without a personal referral.
Primer did not disclose how the businesses were selected, and we do not present either reference as an endorsement. We preserve them as part of MaidProvider.ph’s public record.
About the publication
Philippine Primer is published by Primer Media Inc. and serves Japanese residents and families living in the Philippines. It operates a Japanese-language website (primer.ph), an English-language website (primer.com.ph), and a Manila-based Japanese-language monthly lifestyle magazine. Its living guides cover practical topics for residents—housing, banking, healthcare, and household employment among them.
The 2015 reference
A Philippine Primer article marked updated September 14, 2015, on hiring household help in the Philippines named maidprovider.ph as a site readers could use to find a maid, alongside general guidance on interviewing, written contracts, and treating household workers with respect. The MaidProvider.ph reference appears in the article’s editorial body and is not labeled “PR” on the published page.
The 2023 reference
Primer’s living guide on employing household help—covering roles, wages, interviews, contracts, and the Batas Kasambahay (Republic Act No. 10361)—advises readers without a personal referral that they may turn to a placement agency. In the version updated July 27, 2023, the guide lists Maid Provider PH as a reference agency, linking directly to maidprovider.ph.
One note for accuracy: the 2023 listing displays telephone numbers that are no longer current. The website address remains correct. Current contact details are published at maidprovider.ph/contact, and we are seeking a correction to the listing.
