A family is deciding who may enter a private home, care for children or elderly parents, prepare food, handle personal belongings and become part of everyday family life.
That makes screening part of the infrastructure of responsible placement. At MaidProvider.ph, the work developed into a repeatable standard: identify, verify, assess, document and review.
We call that standard Security Double-Lock®.

Why “Double-Lock”?
The name describes the two principal layers of the screening framework.
One lock examines the record. The other assesses the person.
A registered name creates an obligation.
A proprietary name makes a screening process easier to identify. It also makes the company behind it more accountable for explaining what sits underneath that name.
Clients should be able to understand what is checked, how information is verified, what documentation exists and where the limits of screening begin.
Security Double-Lock® therefore carries a responsibility for consistency. The standard should be recognizable in the way it is applied from one placement to the next.
What the registration means.
The application was filed on 17 June 2026, published for opposition in the IPOPHL E-Gazette on 20 July 2026, and registered on 20 August 2026. The registration runs for ten years, to 20 August 2036.
It gives MaidProvider.ph Corp. legal protection for the SECURITY DOUBLE-LOCK mark within the registered services, and the right to use the ® symbol with it.

What is Security Double-Lock®?
Security Double-Lock® is MaidProvider.ph's screening standard for household placements. It combines nationwide records and identity verification with clinical psychological assessment before a household professional is presented to a family. SECURITY DOUBLE-LOCK is a registered trademark of MaidProvider.ph Corp.
What are the two locks?
Lock 01 is the National Dual-Audit™: NBI biometric authentication combined with PNP National Police Clearance System checks across the Philippines' 18 administrative regions. Lock 02 is MMPI-based clinical psychological assessment through Manila Doctors Hospital, part of the process since 2015.
Does the registration mean the government certified the screening?
No. IPOPHL registered the SECURITY DOUBLE-LOCK trademark. The registration protects the name; it is not a certification of the screening methodology. The standard remains MaidProvider.ph's responsibility.
What does the registration cover?
Philippine Trademark Registration No. 4/2026/00516975, registered 20 August 2026 in Class 35: Employment Agency Services, Personnel Recruitment and Personnel Placement. The registration runs for ten years, to 20 August 2036.
Why does a named screening standard matter to a family?
Because it gives you a better question to ask. Instead of asking whether an agency does background checks, you can ask what its standard covers, how it is documented and where its limits are. A standard that is named and described in public is one you can hold us to.

What it means for Philippine household staffing.
Much of household hiring in the Philippines has historically run on informal networks: a referral from a relative, a neighbor's recommendation, an interview at the gate. The Batas Kasambahay of 2013 gave the work a legal floor. Professional infrastructure around hiring is still being built.
A documented screening standard with a registered name is one piece of that infrastructure. It signals that screening in this sector can be defined, documented and held to account, in the same way that licensing, contracts and privacy compliance already are.
For families, the practical change is a better question. Instead of asking whether an agency does background checks, a family can ask what the standard is, what it covers and where its limits are. A named, documented standard makes that conversation possible.
